Ondo Finance has pulled ahead in the tokenization race. Data from RWA.xyz and onchain trackers now place the platform above $4 billion in tokenized real-world assets (RWA), ranking it first among more than 200 platforms tracked.

The figure excludes stablecoins and covers a growing mix of treasuries, stocks, ETFs (exchange-traded funds), and other products held by hundreds of thousands of wallets.

Dune Analytics highlighted the shift this week, noting that five platforms sit above $3 billion each while Ondo alone has crossed the $4 billion mark.

The broader onchain RWA market (again excluding stablecoins) has expanded past $39 billion, up sharply from roughly $4 billion at the start of 2025. Ondo’s share sits near 10% of that total.

How Ondo Built the Lead

Growth arrived through several product lines rather than a single breakout asset. USDY, the firm’s yield-bearing treasury product, ranks among the largest tokenized government-debt offerings.

OUSG adds institutional-grade short-term bond exposure. Together, these treasury products account for the bulk of the total, with roughly $3 billion in combined value.

Tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs have grown quickly as well, adding hundreds of millions more.

Ondo lists hundreds of distinct assets across Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain and other networks, giving it the broadest catalogue among the top platforms.

Holder counts reinforce the picture. More than 565,000 wallets hold Ondo-tokenized assets, a figure that continues to climb.

Monthly transfer volumes run into the billions, showing active use beyond simple long-term holding.

The platform also reports cumulative holders past the one-million mark when earlier product generations are included.

What Makes Tokenization Attractive Right Now

Investors gain 24/7 access, near-instant settlement, and the ability to move assets across chains or into DeFi (decentralised finance) protocols without waiting for traditional market hours.

Non-U.S. investors in particular have used Ondo products to gain exposure to U.S.

Treasuries and equities that would otherwise face higher barriers.

Partnerships with exchanges, wallets, and institutional rails have widened distribution.

Recent cross-border redemptions involving traditional banking platforms further signal that the infrastructure is maturing.

The market itself has diversified. While cash-equivalent products still dominate the overall RWA total, equities and other asset classes are expanding faster on a percentage basis.

Tokenized stocks, though smaller in absolute size, generate a disproportionate share of onchain trading volume.

That pattern suggests different use cases: treasuries for yield and stability, equities for more active trading.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ondo’s $4 Billion Milestone

What exactly counts toward Ondo’s $4 billion figure?

The number tracks the market value of tokenized real-world assets issued or distributed through Ondo platforms, excluding stablecoins.

It includes USDY, OUSG, tokenized stocks and ETFs, and newer portfolio products.

RWA.xyz and Dune dashboards provide the primary public sources for the ranking.

How does Ondo compare with other large platforms?

Securitize sits close behind at just under $4 billion.

Ondo leads on total value, number of distinct assets (nearly 500), and holder count.

Some competitors concentrate more heavily on a smaller set of institutional products; Ondo has pursued both institutional and broader retail-accessible offerings across multiple chains.

Is the growth sustainable?

Demand for onchain access to traditional assets continues to rise.

Regulatory clarity in key markets, expanding distribution partners, and the practical advantages of 24/7 settlement all support further adoption.

At the same time, the sector remains sensitive to interest-rate changes, regulatory shifts, and overall crypto market conditions.

Ondo’s diversification across Treasuries and equities provides some buffer against single-asset risk.

What products drive the largest share of assets?

Tokenized U.S. treasuries still form the foundation, led by USDY.

Stocks and ETFs have become the second major pillar, growing from near-zero to nearly $1 billion in under a year in earlier 2026 updates.

Newer offerings such as intelligent portfolios have also begun to contribute.

Does the ranking include every form of tokenized asset?

No, RWA.xyz and similar trackers focus on a defined set of distributed, publicly observable tokenized products.

Private or permissioned tokenization activity inside banks or closed systems may not appear in the same tables.

The public rankings therefore capture an important but not exhaustive slice of the market.

Looking Ahead into the Future

Ondo’s leadership at $4 billion-plus marks a clear step in the shift of traditional assets onto blockchain rails.

The firm has stated its longer-term view in simple terms: first billions, then trillions.

Whether that trajectory holds will depend on continued product expansion, regulatory developments, and the willingness of both institutions and individuals to move more capital onchain.

For now, the data shows Ondo occupying the top spot among tracked platforms, with a broad product set and a large holder base supporting the position.
