Gate has quietly rewritten its playbook. In the four months since Gate Stock launched in June 2026, equity trading volume on the platform has surged past $90 billion.

That figure now represents nearly 60% of all non-crypto volume on Gate, according to fresh data from CryptoQuant.

Crypto markets entered a prolonged bear phase in late 2025.

Meanwhile, equities kept climbing—the S&P 500 advanced as much as 17% and the Nasdaq more than 26%.

Crypto-native traders noticed the divergence and moved capital into stocks available on Gate.

The platform’s existing user base and 24/7 access made the shift seamless.

What Drove Gate’s Equity Volume Past $90 Billion?

Strong individual names powered the numbers. Sandisk alone recorded a record $12.43 billion in seven (7)-day volume after beating earnings and flagging a NAND shortage.

SK Hynix followed with more than $2.25 billion, lifted by record revenue and a partnership with Sandisk.

SpaceX generated over $1.54 billion shortly after its initial public offering (IPO), while Micron (MU) cleared more than $600 million in its best week.

These concentrated flows turned a new product line into a major revenue engine for Gate in short order.

Which Assets Now Dominate Non-Crypto Trading on Gate?

Equities lead with roughly 60% of the non-crypto pie. Precious metals hold about 30%, exceeding $46 billion, as gold and silver attracted steady demand.

ETFs (exchange-traded funds) and indices make up another 7%.

The remaining volume sits in other commodities. CryptoQuant’s latest breakdown shows equities clearly outpacing every other traditional asset class on the exchange.

Gate’s multi-asset expansion—covering more than 12,500 stocks and ETFs across U.S., Hong Kong, and Korean markets—gave traders the tools to rotate without leaving the platform.

Why Are Crypto Traders Turning to Equities on Gate Right Now?

Traders sought exposure to the equity bull market while crypto remained under pressure.

Gate’s stock offering arrived at the right moment: familiar interface, continuous trading hours, and access to high-momentum names in memory chips and aerospace.

The result is a clear preference shift. Many users who once traded only digital assets now allocate meaningful capital to tokenized or contracts for difference (CFD)-style equity products on the same account.

This rotation does not appear temporary. Weekly records on multiple tickers and the sustained 60% equity share suggest structural demand rather than a short-lived spike.

Gate’s equity season demonstrates how quickly a crypto exchange can capture traditional market flow when product design and market timing align.

The $90 billion milestone in just four months shows both the platform’s reach and the willingness of its users to cross asset classes when opportunity appears.
