Coinbase is closing the gap fast in tokenized stock trading on decentralised exchanges (DEXs).

Fresh figures from Token Terminal show the exchange’s issued tokens generated $574.2 million in DEX volume over the past seven (7) days.

That places Coinbase just behind Binance at $753.2 million and Robinhood at $672.3 million.

Daily volume for Coinbase-issued tokenized stocks now regularly clears the $100 million mark.

This momentum builds on Coinbase’s earlier growth on Base, where its tokenized equities already posted strong monthly numbers earlier in the fall.

Why Is Coinbase Catching Up So Quickly in Tokenized Stock DEX Volume?

Coinbase launched its tokenized U.S. stocks on Base in late August 2026, starting with popular names such as Nvidia, Apple, Alphabet, and Meta.

These tokens sit 1:1 backed by real shares held in regulated custody and trade around the clock on DEXes.

Traders outside the United States gain continuous access while traditional markets stay closed.

Going deep into the statistics, the recent climb reflects both deeper liquidity pools and rising interest from non-U.S. users seeking 24/7 equity exposure.

How Does Coinbase Compare with Binance and Robinhood Right Now?

Binance still leads the seven-day totals, yet Coinbase has narrowed the distance sharply. Robinhood sits in the middle.

What’s more, the overall tokenized-stock category keeps expanding, with total DEX volume across issuers climbing well past earlier monthly records.

At the same time, Coinbase’s share of daily flow keeps rising, signalling stronger trader adoption on Base.

What Makes Coinbase Tokenized Stocks Attractive to Traders?

These tokens deliver continuous trading windows, decentralised finance (DeFi) composability, and direct exposure to major U.S. equities without traditional brokerage hours.

In particular, weekend sessions have already shown solid activity, with median volumes in the tens of millions even when Wall Street sits idle.

Further, integrations with Base-native DEXes such as Aerodrome concentrate liquidity and keep spreads tight.

Will Base Exchange Overtake the Leaders in Coming Weeks?

The current trajectory suggests continued gains if liquidity deepens and more traders rotate toward Base.

Still, Binance and Robinhood maintain larger absolute volumes for now. Even so, Coinbase’s rapid weekly progress and consistent $100 million-plus daily figures position it as a serious contender in the broader tokenized equity race.

Coinbase’s surge highlights how on-chain equities are maturing. With daily DEX volume already clearing $100 million and weekly totals climbing toward the leaders, the exchange is turning its Base ecosystem into a meaningful venue for tokenized stock trading.

Stakeholders monitoring this space must monitor whether this pace holds through the rest of the year.
