Strive has accelerated its Bitcoin accumulation at a striking pace.

Lookonchain data shows the Nasdaq-listed firm (ticker ASST) acquired 4,045 BTC last week for roughly $335 million at an average price of $82,803.

Over the prior two months, Strive purchased a total of 15,462 BTC valued at $1.27 billion, with an average cost near $82,417.

That latest weekly total breaks down into an earlier 2,822 BTC buy disclosed mid-week plus a subsequent 1,223 BTC addition completed between Wednesday, October 14 and 16  at about $81,734 per coin.

These moves lifted Strive’s overall treasury to 36,818 BTC, worth more than $3 billion at recent prices and securing fourth place among public corporate holders.

What Is Driving Strive’s Rapid Bitcoin Purchases?

Funding comes mainly from preferred stock issuance, warrant exercises, and related capital-market activity rather than traditional debt.

Cash stood near $317.5 million as of mid-October, while the firm prepares for settlement of its SATS Series A preferred offering expected to bring in around $630 million in gross proceeds.

Management has earmarked portions for further Bitcoin buys and an 18-month dividend reserve.

Meanwhile, CEO Matt Cole continues to frame the strategy around Bitcoin’s role as a scarce asset amid ongoing monetary expansion.

The company has grown its holdings more than 380% since the start of 2026, when the stack sat near 7,525 BTC.

How Does Strive Rank Among Corporate Bitcoin Holders?

Strive now trails Strategy, Metaplanet, and Twenty One Capital. It recently edged past MARA.

Closing further gaps would require sustained weekly buys and additional capital raises.

Cole has noted the possibility of reaching second place by year-end remains open yet not the base case.

In parallel, the firm tracks internal metrics such as Bitcoin Yield and amplification ratio to measure how effectively capital raises translate into higher Bitcoin per share for holders.

Why Does Strive Favour Preferred Equity Over Debt?

Preferred instruments like SATA and the newer SATS allow the company to expand its treasury while limiting common-share dilution in some structures.

Warrant exercises have generated hundreds of millions in recent weeks, further supporting purchases.

This approach keeps the balance sheet free of conventional leverage tied to the Bitcoin holdings themselves.

Looking ahead, the upcoming SATS proceeds settlement could fuel the next leg of accumulation.

Strive’s consistent buying through varying market conditions shows a clear long-term commitment to its Bitcoin-centric treasury model.

Investors tracking corporate adoption will watch the next series of 8-K filings closely for confirmation of continued momentum.
